According to various home media retailing outlets and independent research, the recent Planet Hulk direct-to-video animated feature, from Marvel Animation and Lionsgate Home Entertainment, continued to make a mark on the home video sales charts. The acclaimed direct-to-video animated featured moved an estimated 63,400 copies for the week ending February 14th, 2010, the title’s second week on sale. Keep in mind the sales numbers above do not take into account rental numbers, OnDemand numbers, legal download numbers, or high-definition Blu-ray release sales. At the end of its second week, the Planet Hulk DVD home video release has sold a cumulative 202,000 estimated units since hitting shelves on February 2nd, 2010.
